Getting off to a good start in your AMSOIL Business is vital for the new AMSOIL dealer. If you are ill prepared or do not have the right promotional material you take a serious chance at becoming discouraged, down hearted and in the "dumps"! The FIRST thing we encourage our dealers to do is to get together with their sponsor IMMEDIATELY and put together a "Presentation Book"! The kit you get when you first start is great, however, you can't carry EVERYTHING with you to talk to potential customers or accounts.
We also encourage our new dealers to watch the AMSOIL 7.0 tape (the tape we made and you should have received from us when you signed up). EVERY TIME you watch that tape you will learn more beneficial points to explain to your customers! When we first started using that tape we found that very seldom did we ever talk about anything other than what was on the tape! You will need to make copies of that tape. You don't need to give EVERY potential customer, dealer or account the tape, however if you want a STRONG CLOSE they should have seen the tape.
YOU WILL NEED CATALOGS -- the more the better because you will need them to hand out to "strangers" to get a conversation started. You can order them for .50 or less per catalog (G-100 is the product code)
You need some "tri-fold" brochures to hand out. They are inexpensive and do a good job. You use ours or pick out some from the literature catalog. We can make an "original" with your name and phone number on them and you can have them copied for 3-5 cents each. EVERY TIME you go into a store, shop, hardware store, etc. TAKE A FEW WITH YOU and lay them next to the cash resister. You will also need DEALER APPLICATIONS. How are you going to sponsor a new dealer without applications (G18-C .10 ea).

Now you have the TOOLS necessary to start your business and to show prospects the benefits of using AMSOIL. We are not talking a lot of money either, just the basics. Now you can "go get em" because it just gets better and better EVERY DAY! You can also set up a Commercial or Retail on the Shelf Account as well as sponsor a dealer. Always make sure you have plenty of G-100 catalogs to hand out to people (they start good conversations!!!).
